About:
Mrs. Freeman's passion for the arts has spanned multiple decades as both a creative and a teacher. Her innate talents, combined with her spirituality, are evident in her powerful, dynamic, and colorful expressions.

In addition to holding a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Howard University, Mrs. Freeman has also studied as Columbus College of Art & Design, Corcoran College of Art & Design, and The Sculpture Center in New York City.
​
As an exhibit coordinator and longtime art instructor for the District of Columbia public school system, Mrs. Freeman has shared her love of art with countless young artists through her infectious energy and dedication.

Her commissioned work can be seen in private collections around the globe, from California to New York and the beautiful island of Dominica. Mrs. Freeman has 3 children and 12 grandchildren. She is a long time Silver Spring resident, living and painting in Montgomery County, Maryland.
